Busduct / Busway Systems
Busduct / Busway Systems
Compact sandwich-construction and air-insulated busduct rising mains, in copper or aluminium, for high-rise commercial buildings, data centres and industrial plants where cable runs would be impractical.
Sandwich & air-insulated construction
Sandwich busduct uses tightly stacked, insulated conductors in a compact aluminium or steel housing for high short-circuit performance, low impedance and low voltage drop. Air-insulated designs are used where high ambient or specific maintenance access is required.

Standard sections & fittings
Straight lengths, elbows, tees, expansion joints, end-feed boxes, plug-in tap-off boxes and flanged ends — engineered as a complete system from incomer at the substation to riser ends in the building.
Tap-off & distribution
Plug-in tap-off boxes with MCCBs / fuse switches allow distribution at every floor or load centre, swappable under safe-isolation procedures. Boxes are mechanically interlocked with the busduct housing.
- Copper or aluminium conductor
- IP54 / IP55 housings as required
- Floor-mount supports with seismic restraint
- Fire-barrier sleeves at floor crossings
Type-tested performance
Short-circuit, temperature-rise and IP-degree type tests at accredited laboratories. System impedance and voltage-drop calculations supplied at engineering stage to support load-flow and protection coordination.
